Eh, if the mains haven't fucked the block, then you can just replace the crank and whichever rod you nuked.

Your spun rod bearing is most likely from detonation or the fact that F22 is unbalanced swill crankshaft. Chekc upper bearing halves - if they have more wear than the rest of the bearing then it is detonation.

I think H23A1 block with H22 crank rods pistons is the cheapest way to go FTW

I didnt mean the block was junk just it would proably be easier just to replace the shortblock has f22 blocks are pretty cheap

crank is done for though

get another shortblock or at least another crank. Might as well get all the spare parts with it. Im going through a similar problem with my accord, my number 3 main is destroyed, and so is the block

get a jdm f22b dohc. get some forged pistons and rods and boost away. that setup can support over 400whp safely. ----, a stock f22b dohc can support over 320whp stock.

well that suck... story is the engine overheated... result rod bearing bye bye... but headgasket is fine...

did a compression test... engine was cold and i got 150-155-155-155 for a 8.8:1 comp ratio. Its raining now but once the sun shows up, i will remove the oilpan and check all the bearing.
