where can i get some sleeves for my ls block? i wanted to go with golden eagle or dart sleeves but they only say something about sending your block in to them to get sleeved, cant i just buy the sleeves and press them in myself?

you can buy just sleeves, the sleeves themselves are realitively in-expensive, getting them pressed in is the expensive part

i was gonna get some for my Z6 for a couple hundred bucks, but pressing them in would about even out the cost of just sending it to them

If you have a reputable machine shop that can do this type of work, then you can order the golden eagle sleeves from Race Engineering and have them put in at your shop.

The integrity of a sleeved block depends alot on how/who/what puts them in.

Might be a good price, but you get what you pay for. Mid sleeves don't carry the full sleeve thickness all the way to the bottom. Thick at the top, thin at the half-way point and down. At least the golden eagle sleeves are a full thickness sleeve from top to bottom if you're going for hardcore sleeving. This is the best way to go if you're going to have a high lateral load on the sleeve.
