sleeving
where can i get some sleeves for my ls block? i wanted to go with golden eagle or dart sleeves but they only say something about sending your block in to them to get sleeved, cant i just buy the sleeves and press them in myself?

Re: sleeving
do you own a machine shop?
this cant be done at home |
Re: sleeving
you can buy just sleeves, the sleeves themselves are realitively in-expensive, getting them pressed in is the expensive part
i was gonna get some for my Z6 for a couple hundred bucks, but pressing them in would about even out the cost of just sending it to them |
Re: sleeving
If you have a reputable machine shop that can do this type of work, then you can order the golden eagle sleeves from Race Engineering and have them put in at your shop.

Re: sleeving
The integrity of a sleeved block depends alot on how/who/what puts them in.
