thats a zc from the 1rst gen teg right? if that fits then the d15b vtec should fit too with a 1rst gen teg tranny or a 4th gen civic tranny.

am i right or wrong?

Frank, I posted that stuff a while ago, because I had found a 1g for $200 and was wondering if i could've swapped my D into her.

From what I've looked into, its not worth it. I think that you have to eliminate one of the motor mounts, and it rattles like a bitch

Hey, I'm the co-founder of rpr and we have done a 88-91 JDM SOHC ZC with a 92-95 S20 LSD trans into an 87 Civic hatch. It is a full custom install, it took us 5 weeks and the mounts were fairly easy, the hardest part was the hydro-to-cable clutch setup, here's some pics:

The trans. mount

The ghetto rear mount

The hydro-to -cable conversion

Del Sol dual core 1/2 rad

Front mount before we cut and re-welded to fit into the P/S steering mount

4-point cage we built

Front mount after it was cut and welded

ECU mount for easy access

Motor as it sits now with custom camber/caster plates and STB

Car as it is now, my buddy who is the other c0-founder of rpr raced it and won his class championship in his first year of Solo 1. Thecar is incredibly fast with a stock motor, this winter will bring a cam change along with a DIY ITB setup and we will finish the front cage.

how's that for a homemade setup!
