no i totally agree that i will make 0 whp more with the cheapest or the most expensive injectors. these aren't THAT much more money. the hard part is, i cannot find any hard fact specs on either injector, so it makes it hard to make an actual informed decision.

listening to peoples opinions is one thing, but reading spec sheets is another.

my thought is, if the siemons injector is a higher quality, and either going to be more flexible when tuning (shorter minimum pulse) or more reliable (not 'drilled' out to flow more) then its easily worth an extra $50-75 or whatever the cost difference is. it may not make more power, but RC injectors aren't exactly known to the best ones out there is the impression i get. and if me cheaping out on a $50 price difference kills my motor (which has a hell of a lot more than $50 into it) i would be pissed. not like i am considering $500+ injector sets.

I'm mostly just wondering if you guys could offer insight on fitment.

ps. i dont really care about gas mileage it is NOT a daily driver. But i would like it to idle nicely...

but run like ----? whatever you change on the engine the correct tuning of said engine needs to compensate for whatever your doing to it be it simply adding new injectors.

you cannot make more hp with simply changing out the injector. go read a book.

as far as fitment goes, just get some injectors, and slap it on. i had to get my injectors machined down to fit the fuel rail, but those where 1600's.thats the only way to know for sure.the part that really matters is the top portion where you most likely need a bung and oring type deal. the bottom seal just prevents vaccume leaks and whatnot, if its tighter than a nuns ---- or looser than a dieing hooker, then whatever.

i will be running a standalone engine management system don't worry it won't run like ----. and it will be properly tuned.
what makes you think that I believe that changing fuel injectors would change power? my last ------- post i state that i know i wont make any different power no matter what injector i use.

i am not a total newb, but since I am buying injectors that i have no idea will fit or not, i wanted to check with some people who might have done it before. i would rather not spend $300 on fuel injectors to find that they don't fit and have to track down something else. I prefer to get it right the first time.

'just get some injectors, and slap it on' is great if they are able to be slapped on. thats all im trying to find out

The Precision injectors are mainly ball-type, like the Siemens DEKA injectors. Deka's are actually rated continuous for 95psi, and up to 125psi. The ball-style shoots a very fine mist in a fairly wide pattern, and have as mentioned very quick reations. They are only a little more sensitive to gunk sticking the ball opened than pintle-style are.

I got some 780's (not milled) and fit my d16z6 w/my own seals just fine. I use 5/8" ID x 3/4" OD buna-n tubing to be gasoline safe. I can't recall, but I think it was the upper spacer I had to cut down a little. Considering I got a pre-turbo (NA) d16z6 w/3" exhaust to idle perfect at 750rpm with uberdata, I think they're great.

Okay, thanks for the reply. Decent idle would be great to get a handle on.

You used non milled precision injectors, or non milled Siemons injectors?
If they are similar like you say, then from what you are indicating it sounds like either the milled or the non-milled would work for my application, or am I misinterpreting you?
