Siemens fuel injector fitment question...

Hey guys I am going to pick up some 750cc Siemens fuel injectors. Specifically the 3145 model.
http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_MILLED.asp

Siemens 3145 - 750cc/min - 3 bar - Milled to fit Imports w/ ND-type injector. LOW RESISTANCE

they sell a 'normal' version, and a 'milled' version that fits 03-04 Mitsu EVO and the 95-99 Eclipse 2.0. My question is if I get the version for the 2g DSM, will I be able to use the injectors in a B16 fuel rail and B16 intake manifold? I know that Honda guys use DSM 450cc injectors all the time, but I guess i never knew if the 1g and 2g injectors are different, but I don't want to drop $300 on some fuel injectors that do not fit! :)

Just looking for some input from people who might be running Siemens injectors to see what fits.

Thanks,
Chris

If they fit the 95-99 tsi they will fit... just need to bore the seal.

Best way is to compare them if you are going to pick them up.

so do we just buy honda seals and open them up a bit to fit the 95-99 injector? if that is the case I will probably be able to run these if i get the 'milled for dsm' injectors. :)

or you can bore a seal just by explaining to the seal the intricacies of life. it will surely get bored.

Seems expensive. I got brand new PTE 1000cc Inj for $285 shipped. Made to fit honders.

i was thinking the same. why not hit up tuner toys drop 230 or something and get like 650 for a honda.

Re: Siemens fuel injector fitment question...

these specific injectors were reccomended to me by fred at electromotive... i don't know what the technical spec is called, but they have a very quick 'minimum pulse width' (or something like that), compared to RC style injectors (not sure how PTE stacks up) that are just 'drilled out to flow more and balanced'. so according to them it will be far easier to get a livable idle and reasonable economy with those injectors.

when i told him i was planning on using RC or something of that nature he asked why i was using them and suggested these...it was the only thing about my setup that he questioned and reccomended a different choice.

now he could just be blowing smoke up my ass, but i have spent a lot of time chatting with him, and i think he just wants to recommend something they trust more, and i can't blame him for that. if the price diff is just $15-$75 on this part (critical part imo) i don't mind spending a bit extra for peace of mind if they truly are higher quality.

I do trust their judgement on their own fuel injection system. :)

bottom line is the added benifit worth an extra 100 dollars. cause id be willing to bet that the difference hes talking about will net you 0 many horse powers. Not to sure what he means by a reasonable amount or economy but if you plan on boosting to the levels that require 650's its not gonna give you mileage like a stock CX will.

Just drop like 230 on 750's from tuner toys and call it a day. put the 100 towards a sweet kteller setup or something. just my .02
