short ram problem....HELP

Default short ram problem....HELP

hey whats up guys, a buddy of mine recently purchased a K&N short ram intake....now hes got a problem: hes not able to rev it past 3k rpm. the car at stake is a 2003 toyota carolla. thanks

The problem is he bought a ------- corolla. Dont know ---- about toyotas but did he reattach all sensors maybe he broke one? Tell him to put the stock ---- back on to see if that fixes the problem and if it does fix the problem tell him to sell it.

Check the MAF sensor connection. Any check engine light or air entering the short ram after the MAF. Oh yeah if it has one :P

Also try resetting the ecu. It might help.

yea its not the intake , your buddy did something wrong, id go with what crxfreak88 said and check all sensors
