short ram problem....HELP
 

hey whats up guys, a buddy of mine recently purchased a K&N short ram intake....now hes got a problem: hes not able to rev it past 3k rpm. the car at stake is a 2003 toyota carolla. thanks

The problem is he bought a ------- corolla. ;) Dont know ---- about toyotas but did he reattach all sensors maybe he broke one? Tell him to put the stock ---- back on to see if that fixes the problem and if it does fix the problem tell him to sell it. ;)

Check the MAF sensor connection. Any check engine light or air entering the short ram after the MAF. Oh yeah if it has one :P

Also try resetting the ecu. It might help.

yea its not the intake , your buddy did something wrong, id go with what crxfreak88 said and check all sensors
