check your brake booster. i have a vacuum leak as well, and i think i found it. i kept looking all around the intake manifold, and didn't find ----. but when i turn my car off, and then run to my engine compartment right after, i think i hear a vacuum noise coming from my brake booster. i never really thought to check there... maybe you didn't either. good luck to you, i ------- hate vacuum leaks, and know EXACTLY how you feel.

k, fixed it. there are two holes that let air bypass the throttle plate, one is for the IACV and the other the cool idle valve or some ----. anyway i just made a new gasket that blocked off that bottom one (cold idle) and it ------ runs great!

that means that your fast idle valve is gumed up and sticking open ...

take her off and clean the hell outta it and pop it back on w./ a normal gasket and ur good to go.

ya u coooould. When you start your car (if it was 100% normal) it's supposed to rev to 2k until it starts to warm up. Does yours do that still?
