Default settle this arguement

I have a b18a thats going into my CRX. It came from an automatic integra. A friend told me automatics have different input shaft hole diameters on the automatic crankshafts than a 5 speed. I told him he is full of ----. People convert automatic to manual all the time and I never heard of such a thing. I imagine there may be some cases where this is true in some cars, but I highly doubt it for Honda/Acuras. Have I been wrong all this time or is my friend talking out his ***?

Where did you get axles from he said input shaft not output shaft. He is talking about were the transmission input shaft mates with the crankshaft(through the clutch). :P On the auto you dont even have a input shaft per say because it has a torque converter and flexplate.

Auto's have shorter shafts, they end inside the torque convertor.

Slap on a B series flywheel with a new pilot bearing, use 6 flywheel (not flexplate) bolts, install the clutch assembly, slap on the tranny.
