settle this arguement
I have a b18a thats going into my CRX. It came from an automatic integra. A friend told me automatics have different input shaft hole diameters on the automatic crankshafts than a 5 speed. I told him he is full of ----. People convert automatic to manual all the time and I never heard of such a thing. I imagine there may be some cases where this is true in some cars, but I highly doubt it for Honda/Acuras. Have I been wrong all this time or is my friend talking out his ass?

Re: settle this arguement
most cars you just have to put the piolet bearing in, I dont know of a single car you need to change the crank on ::)

Re: settle this arguement
Auto's have shorter shafts, they end inside the torque convertor.
Slap on a B series flywheel with a new pilot bearing, use 6 flywheel (not flexplate) bolts, install the clutch assembly, slap on the tranny. |
