so i found on mine that it does say booo so what would be the next step to finding out if its a actuall y8 mista bone? The only reason im doubting it is because when i bought it the guy was like "yea, im pretty sure its a y8,the guy i got it from said it was". So both of u were kinda confused on how to figure it out!

 

simple math......

select a gear other than reverse.

turn the input shaft 10 revs, count how many times the diff goes around.

example, 4th gear.......

10 / .909 / 4.25 = 2.59

10 / .909 / 3.25 = 3.39
