Default Rings, shotpeened rods

I'm trying to figure out if the "Chrome" or "Premium" rings that Advance Auto and other parts stores carry are ok to use on an engine I will be boosting to no more than 8psi (6 daily). I can no longer locate the "Plain" rings Advance once sold. Should I use the "Chrome/Premium" rings? Are Honda rings ok for this application?
Also, I hear it would be a good idea to get my rods shotpeened since I will be using the stockers. How much does this usually run and is it woth it?
The engine is a b20a from my 88 prelude.

Oops, as for the shotpeened rods:
Is it a good idea to have this done? How much does this procedure usually cost?

im not sure if that's the b20 or not... but the newer crv b20's are not good for boost, cylnder walls are thin and crack under low boost. 8psi and 6psi daily? u can run that on ur stock pistons and rods... shotpeening only cost like 35 bux and its worth it i guess for something cheap. comparing it to some real rods for 280+ not including rings, pistons, bearings, rod bolts...
