reving up and down. help!

k so ihave clean bout fit valve and the iacv. what happens now is i hit the brake it revs up and down once i let the clucth out a litt and smooth out the idling it stops? and ideas?? think it could still be a vacumm leak?

make sure throttle cable has slack in it

make sure the throttle opening is clean

those don't help, turn the idle air bypass screw all the way in, then back out 1.5 turns (just like a carb!)

Also, you'll see two holes inside the TB opening, put a fibger over both of them (like Helms sez to do)

Would a faulty brake booster cause a vacuum leak? You said it starts when you hit the brakes. I'm not too familiar with boosters, just throwing out an idea.

I guess the easiest way to find out, would be to unplug the vacuum line to the booster, and plug it temporarily.
