Re: Reasons for spontaneous loss of oil pressure
I will. Even if there is scoring, what would that have to do with oil presure?

Re: Reasons for spontaneous loss of oil pressure
lack of oil pick-up from the pan meaning no circulation

Re: Reasons for spontaneous loss of oil pressure
ok, so I changed my oil again without the stabalizer this time and I found something interesting.
The stabalizer was sitting on the bottom of the pan half congealed and when I put the old filter on the ground with the holes facing up, the oil didn't go in the filter, the oil just sat there and didn't move and hasn't moved for a day. so, is there any possibility that because I put the stabalizer in first and then ran it for a sec with just that, that it clogged my pickup? Seems pretty likely considering how thick everything is but I don't know. |
Re: Reasons for spontaneous loss of oil pressure
very possible drop the pan and look at the pick-up just two gaskets and time is all it is
