how do you raise the dech height? do you just put in a plate with a head gasket on either side?

The mains have no problems at high end, especially on D-series since the main block girldle is designed apart of the main caps. The thrust axis points on the sleeves is where you want to have support at. Its not at the bottom of the cylinder either, its about 1 1/2 inches down from the top of the deck. So if you have cement at the bottom of this thing, I'm curious to see how the water pump passage is going to work.

What is your R/S ratio with these custom sized rods and raised deck?. Honestly you would have been better off sleeving a 1.6 D, using a set of crower rods and forged pistons. It would be basically bulletproof.
