i have a mini-me with the z6 head;the vtec is not working yet;i was wondering if my oil pressure is higher since vtec isnt working

 

The oil should flow just the same, the vtec controller is only forcing a solnoid to open. If what you described is a problem then every vtec powered car would have higher oil prssure below 5k rpms.. maybe you might have performed something slightly off during the swap?

What motor is this on, a d15?

 

did u take out the oil jet on the block?

 

yea its on a d15 ;and i took the oil jet out;just curious cause my car smokes pretty good when i get on it after 5000 rpm;but when i hook the vtec sylenoid up; it doesnt do it as much;

 

i think you have a pretty big problem
