putting a y7 into a 92-95?
ok im tossing a y7 into my 94 ex...but im wondering what will need to be swtiched (aside from injectors, dizzy). the motor is currently in a 96 hatch and im not sure if the shift linkage will be the right length. i have or can get back all the 94 d-series mounts if they will work. sorry but i never tried this and have zero time for searching

you need to keep your mounts when i did mine same exact swap the obd1 distributor wouldnt fit so i had to use the obd2 or the y7 one and i had to rewire it just follow the colors and pull the pins out dont cut pretty simple just take the clips off of your old distributor worked fine for me oh yea your shift linkage from your 94 will be fine also

yes both cars are manual...the thing is that right now there is a b16 in the 94, so using the shift linkage from that car is out. I was wondering if the 96 one would work. So just re-pinning the y7 dizzy with a obd1 plug will work fine? And all the mounts from the old z6 (that used to be in the 94) will work fine with the y7 right?...ill have to track those down asap
