you need to keep your mounts when i did mine same exact swap the obd1 distributor wouldnt fit so i had to use the obd2 or the y7 one and i had to rewire it just follow the colors and pull the pins out dont cut pretty simple just take the clips off of your old distributor worked fine for me oh yea your shift linkage from your 94 will be fine also

electronically the obd1 and obd2 dists work the same, so a re-wire and thats all good.

injectors should work also, use obd-2 clips.

is the engine (mainly, the intake mani, from a manual car?)

if you swap a y7 in your eg, try to find a z6 manifold... cause the y7 one sucks *****

Keep in mind that the Y7 has a 3 wire IAC valve. That may be a problem unless you use a P2E ECU. You would have to swap to a 2 wire unit like a standard Y8 or any Z6.
