that's a good point about the switch cutting power.. for some reason I think I wired the momentary switch like that, don't know for certain but the radio cuts off, and I know that's not cause the battery is sensing major current. Will have to look next week when I get to drive that hooptie.
And no, the bushbutton starter doesn't make the car any easier to steal, that's like saying you can steal a car using a remote starter, you still need to get power to the ACC (distributor/ECU) and unlock the stearing column.
The pushbutton just makes you look rice, or like a tractor/diesel equipment, I installed the pushbutton starter on my dads car while my grandfather was visiting (old farmer from indiana) and he just went on and on about how my dad's car is like a tractor now, obviously he's never heard of rice.
