Default Preperations in firing up a car that hasn't ran in years

So I have an Integra that hasn't been fired up in 4 years. Just wondering what I should do before I fire it up. Going to change all the fluids, checking ignition system and siphoning the gas out. Also thinking about putting a bit of oil down each spark plug hole and hand cranking the motor a couple times. Anybody know of anything else other then the regular maintenance stuff.

Just drain the tank and change the oil.

Change the gas out and put some fuel dryer in the next tank to take care of any problems like water.

Change oil, plugs and fire it up. If it doesn't fire, then address it like a car that isn't running normaly.

Well I have never done it on a Honda (Going to try on my rebuild) but on a few Mopar Small Blocks. It is basically an air pig that you put oil into, bring up to engine oil pressure (50-60psi or so) with the air compressor, hook it into the oil pressure sensor port (I'm going to use my feed line to the turbo as I'm installing one and capping until the motor is broken in) open a valve and the oil is forced all throughout the engine.

We normally borrow one, but I'm building one out of a small Pancake style Air Compressor the the pump took a ---- on.

id say just disconnect the ecu and crank it. the starter will pressurize the oil system. WHen the light goes out (or after a like 10 seconds) plug the ecu back in and have at her.

That is what I would do, there is no heat and wear when youre turning an engine over, and by the time you turn it 10 times the pump will have already done its thing and lube everything up for you.

I would hook up a pressure guage to make sure youre getting correct oil pressure.
