no i will not paint the exhaust housing. the exhaust and compressor housings along with the intake elbows will be spending some time in getting beadblasted then the exhaust might get a thremal coat...
skunk2? i think you missed something, i wont spend that kind of cash on much of anything. i am looking for a manifold though, so far it looks like a 92-93 (manual tranny) manifold will suit my needs along with a quick port job (me + dremel) and a bigger T-body maybe...

are you looking for a 92-93 im? if so, i have a 93 im with sensors off of a manual tranny, i'll let it go cheap if you want it. if i was you though, i would go with a 94+
the 94 up is when the b18"a" became the b18"b". the only real difference is the im (shorter, fatter runners), and some people say the cams are a little more agressive in the 18b, i don't know though. i hydrolocked my 93 b18a and replace it with a 99 b18b, you can tell it flows better and the it feels like maybe the cams are more aggressive, but that could also be from better airflow in the head.
I got my b16 yesterday, and before yesterday I didn't believe you could rice out an engine, but mine was riced, it had a type r valve cover (the red one) clear spark plug cover, and a blue transmission.
I'll get pics later
