Default Pace Racing B series Shift linkage > MUSHY

O.K. I'm using a Pace racing shift linkage in my EF B16 it feels like crap very mushy and when it's in gear it feels like it's in nutral alot of side to side play. I think I may have forgotten a spacer since they gave me two black ones and one silver spacer I put the black one on the out side and the silver on the inside so I have on black one left over, Is this a reason. PR gives you new Honda bushings so I know it's not that and I've seen other people say they have this problem with their shift linkage's so how do I fix this or is there no fix and I just have to deal with it.

try that spacer since u already have it. BUt i think it might be caused by the soft rubber bushings.. I have Enery suspension poly's on my shift bushings and its like notchy.

If n F&F you can get an idea how that eclipse feels when it shifts caused u here that click. Mine feels like how that looks.. sounds weird, but thats the only way I can describe it.

did you put a new spring pin in? when I did my swap it took me 6 months to figure out why my shifter was loose, turned out to be the spring pin.

its your bushings my friend...find a hard bushing kit and use redline tranny fluid to fix it. i own a 1g eclipse with the 4g63 awd turbo and after time the trannies feel notchy and you put the new bushing kit on and use redline and it takes away the notchy feeling...

Cool I'll check the spring pin ( aka the bitch pin ) but I have a urathane inser for the front I just couldn't put it in cause of time when I did the swap but I'll try it and see what happens. Thanks for all reply.
