ok got my y7 coming...more help needed

see there we go
i talked to 4 guys from honda yesterday and all said i would get codes but no limp mode....arghhhhhh
need someone that has taken a y7 block and put it in his or her car under a y8 head and comp

no its a mount on the pump go OBD 1 and its in the oil pump, drop to OBD 1 and use a z6 oil pump and youll be fine

why not just swap the oil pump off of my y8 and use it?
funny...both oil pumps (y7 and y have the same model #
hmmmmmmm

now my knock sensor had moved....from the block to the pump?
