Yeah he is but i was taught something. KISS. Keep it simple stupid. Sometimes I get really in depth with problems when its just something so simple. Basically its like ripping a wiring harness looking for an open when all it really was is just a F-in fuse.

OK.. let me start to answer somethings..

!) Swapped ignitors, same problem..
2) With VTec off, I can rev to 6500...
3) I'm not sure what AFC you have, but, mine doesn't have a "Rev limiter" anywhere that I have seen. I'm using the Apexi V-AFC.
4) I seem to have a head gasket leak!! I'm SOOOO hoping that this is the problem.

Lets think about this, and tell me how probable it is:
Mini-me, high compression motor. Runs fine when low RPMs, low boost.. why? Power output is very low, and steady.. when boost kicks in, at higher RPMs, more power, more stress on the gasket.. Causing my engine to buck out. Maybe I get more RPM out of it (6500) when VTec is off because I'm producing less power due to the shorter valve duration?

Does this sound possible? (Either way, I'm throwing an overhaul party this weekend.. I'm going to repalce a bunch of things, and hopefully tackle this bitch)

yeah, or your bleeding boost off into other crevises of the motor since there is an increased lift on the cams (its leaking through the gaps of the headgasket). Or its just running unsteady... all in all get the fucker fixed dont rev it up anymore :)
