OK... 6000rpm rev limit!?

I would try another Dizzy if you have one on hand... before you start replacing ignitiors...

IT's just strange that it worked fine to the minute that that I took the 1.5 out.. and ptu the 1.6 Mini in.
Fromt he moment I started new engine, it's done this. Hrm..

What are you running for fuel management?? Are you using ghettodyne?? Or just ecucontrol??

Well, uhm, EcuControl isn't fuel management.

I'm using my V-AFC for fuel..

My a/f gauge says it's not a fuel related issue, pressure, or otherwise..

I think we're ont he right track with the ignition issue, except it's weird that it would start only with the new motor.

And even so, I should run way rich when it happends because of the lack of fire.. soo.. who knows.. this sucks.

I have seen stranger things. I put a new head on my car and it seemed like everything went bad after that. )2 sensor was the first thing to go. After that the iacv valve and then the cap and rotor started acting up. You might be surprised as to how simple the problem is. Check the things you don't think it could be first.

this is probably really not likely, but maybe your plug wires are backwards?

I have done this so many ------- times its not funny...of course if nology at least made their plug wires different lengths it would be nice

check the damn revlimit setting on the afc. I bet thats most likely the problem.
