follow ur haynes....and make sure u torque it down in the proper procedure.....i can't tell u of how many leaking head gaskets we get here at work when one of our guys replaces a head....they never want to torque in the proper order and cause a leak....do it right the first time.

Now tell me u are using a good torque wrench right not just "hand tight"

no i am using a torque wrench the problem is i reused stock bolts and my head was redecked so that made it loose a couple of thousands so those added togther wernt a good thing ...when i pulled my head my head gasket wasent even compressed a little bit so thecollent was seeping thru my coolent jackets down thru in to my oil pan also my stock oem head gasket has those stupid seperate gasket for the oil feed ...but i ordered head studs and a new felpro head gasket i got torque specs but i dont really have the procedur i just thought it was from middle to outwards going across from each bolt
