Default oem rings with forged pistons?

This is my first forged internal setup and I've never assembled a bottom end before. I've taken enough apart but never put it back together afterwards. I won a set of SRP pistons for my LS. I can use just normal oem rings for them can't I or do I need some special ---- from SRP/JE? It's just a std bore piston and nothing fancy smancy.

im pretty sure you can use OE rings and they'll work wonderfully.

Careful, I'm not tryin to dampen anything but I know that alot of piston manufacturer's design the pistons differently in the ring grooves to work along with their own specially designed rings to try and get the jump on the competition on getting the rings to seal. i.e. the grouves may be taper'd so that the compression in the cylinder's will move between the piston, and ring on the taper pushing the ring's outward into the cylinder walls to better improve sealing. Infact when I called JE to order my pistons they make their own brand rings which are the only ones that will seal properly with their pistons,... Also ring grouve width's and thicknesses vary depending on manufacturer -vs- OE. Hope it all works out man
