Oh I know how it helps by just raising it, I jacked the front of her hatch as high as it would go with those coil overs before it looked ridiciouls.

Like I said, lsd trans use a different axle, so it was hard to find a happy medium. Even visually the axles looked nice and straight, not to loose, or to tight.

good point, i didn't really think about it like that. i was making it seem more complicated to myself i guess. as far as the axles, i know some people that have had 0 problems, and some people that have ahd problems, i'll just take my chances and see what happens. my boy has the lsd tranny and is using the 90-93 tegs on both sides and has no problems at all, he tried the 89 tegs with the accord intermediate shaft before that, and it diddn't work out so great. i'll just take my chances and see what happens. ---- it, i just want to try something different. the car's not going anywhere, i can always swap a b back in it if i don't like the h, i just want to try it and see what i can do with a fairly simple all motor set up.

This is old and outdated I know. But I had the same issue with my stage3 Driveshaft shop axles when my car was lowered but to cure that I purchased Progress lowering springs and adjustable struts to stiffen it up a bit more. And as far as the swap back to a B series, better buy a new engine harness and passenger side engine subframe mount. As anyone that has swapped a H into a Eg or EK you either need to cut about 3/4 of an inch off the ****** and drill new holes or go with Hasport and it comes with new plate. I almost with I went with a B and a Snail.

Ya this thread is a little old, but here's the thing. projekteg - the sensor on the oil pump is not used for determining the crank angle. It is only used to detect misfires by looking for abnormal changes in crankshaft speed ie fluctuation, that's why it is called the crankshaft fluctuation sensor (CKF). The crank angle is still determine by the three sensors in the dizzy.

You should wire up all OBD2 stuff and have the motor appear OBD2, that way you could run either ecu. The only problem is that OBD1 motors don't have anywhere to mount the CKF sensorand the timing belt gear is different since it has the teeth for the CKF sensor on it. I'm sure with a little creativity you could mount it though. If you want I'll post up pics of it on an OBD2 GSR. The sensor has to be real close to the teeth on the timing gear.
