Yeah, you're right Matt...i just got a reply from my buddy at a honda dealership about that a few days ago. I just hogged out the mounting holes nicely so i can bolt it on clean at least. I'm working on a 90 teg dizzy now...i cut off the mounts and i'm having a custom set welded on to line up with the z6 head.

 

Holy ish man You just found out what I could never find out. I been having the same trouble, I have an 3 Obd dizzys and none of them will start my crx, but I can reverse the 2 blue, and solid Orange and white wires and it will fire up but run in safe mode. I have rewired the entire ecu harness, because some one made a horrible attempt at dpfi to mpfi swapping the car and had no luck. Hell I even hardwired the dizzy wires straight to the ecu pins and had the same problem. I almost sold the car but now I guess I'll just buy me an hf or si dizyy and hack it like everyone else.
