Default obd1 conversion question

ok guys, this is my first post on this site so i don't want to look like a total phuktard but here goes anyway.
(oh yea, as soon as i set up paypal account i will donate)

ok, i have a 91 civic si, currently has a y7 out of a 2000 civic, i have a y8 head that i believe came from a 98 civic that i want to put on as well as a comp cams , stage one cam.
anyway i want to convert my ---- to obd1 from obd 0, i have all stock ecu, harness, dizzy. question is, i have the y7 distributor that came off the motor i have in my car now, its like brand new, also have a slightly older y7 dizzy and the clips are different. that one came off a 97 civic. ---- i am confusing myself.......

ok anyway can i make the y7 dizzy off the 2000 motor work if i swap the internal ---- in it? or would it be easier to just find a y8 distributor? and would that dizzy work with obd1(because aren't they obd2?) i plan on just buying the conversion harnesses because wiring is not one of my forte's. thanks guys!!!

Ok, this is starting to look like Attack of the Ohio Guys...lol. No Rawr, he did not say he wants to convert back to OBD0, he is OBD0 and wants to convert to OBD1 to use the Y8 head. I am assuming he is using a PM6 dizzy right now. Can't he just put the Y8 head on, use his PM6 intake and dizzy? That would mean that he has to have something to activate vtec, like an RPM switch or a chipped PS9 ecu using the lock-up control solonoid to control that mAd tYtE vTacK. I think you can even use the maps from a P28 rom pasted into a pm6 bin to compensate for fuel...then again who knows.

Yes you can use the y8 head with a6 dizzy(pm6) and stay obd0 ( that's the way I should have gone instead of using z6 head and converting to obd1 on my old setup). For vtec you can use TE with ac line to active vtec, or use the one wire vtec activation found on pgmfi.org, there is also rpm switch thingy.

ok so i should just stay obd0?
yes i have a y7 running a a6 dizzy and pm6 ecu, i know the guy that wrote turbo edit and he said he can chip my ecu and tune it for me, but i wanted to go to obd1 because he said that it has support for itb's.
problem is its hard getting ahold of him.
thanks for the info guys.
