non vtec head??

Default non vtec head??

i know on a mini me swap you have to take out the oil restrctor thing but what what about putting a non vtec heead on a vtec block do you have to put a restrictor thing back in? sorry this seems like a stipid quesion i just dont want to mess something up>

i would put it back in, but i don't think it makes that big of a difference. i know a guy that done that and forgot to put it back in and had no problems.

if you don;t put the restrictor back in, you'll flood the head with oil and have lower oil pressure, possibly starving the crank.
