i had thought about that...but would i still be able to rev as high as my b16?
yeah, if built properly, you can rev just as high as your b16, but you need a quick fix now right? if so, buy some pistons (lower comp.) and rings, throw them in your b16, and boost happily, if it's not enough, build up an ls bottom to swap your head on to. but you're ---- is blown right now and you don't want to have to worry about finding a block, parts, machine work, etc., etc., just to get your car on the road again. hell, you can even use the pistons out of your b16 if you build an ls bottom later down the road. i think you'll be happy with some lower comp. pistons though, you'll be able to boost a lot more, safely, especially if you're getting hondata......

how much should i expect to pay for a motor pull and rebuild if i supply the pistons and rods?

ah man, i'm not sure, i thought you were going to do it yourself, it's really not that complicated. all i could say is call around some places and then give us the prices they tell you and we'll let you know if it's reasonable.....

I am located near springfield mo...i didnt tear down the engine, i did a compression test and got

so i assumed that is what happened. I took it to a local shop which pulled the plug and put a camara or some ---- in there and said that there was a hole in the piston, and ------ charged me 100 to tell me my engine was blown....which i already ------ knew....anyway

damn, either way, you're gonna get raped if you take it somewhere :P i wish i was close to you, i would help you, maybe someone will see this that is close and save you a few hundred bucks
