Alright guys I have an MSD cap and coil. I installed it like it says, the negative and the positive from the internal coil to the new coil. Then the wire to the cap. I used the .8 ohm ballast resistor like it says to with stock ignitions but for some reason it still will not fire. I can't figure it out. If anybody knows then help me out please.

I think you wire the new coil from the ignitor in the distributor. The ground has 2 wires coming out from under the rotor (their tied into 1 at some kind of connector) The positave is obviously the other wire. I used no sorts of resistors on my car and it runs fine
