Just have someone there that has done it b4. Makes it really easy. The manuals and everything suck. Nothing better than a person with experience.

if you can't get your drum back over your shoes make sure your adjustment spinny ---- is all the way in, and that your drums line up with your old shoes right. i had this problem with my 1970 international, i sent the front shoes out for a reline because they don't make them anymore (they sent back some other Dayton shoe), and the ones they gave me had to be die grindered in a few key places.

Ummm. Well the proper way to put your drum back on would be to have the lip on the inside edge, that forms from the fact that the shoes don't touch that partr, removed on a brake lathe.

The flate rate way is to spin the adjusters in far enough that you can get your drums over the shoes without a hammer. Then back the car up and depress the brakes and repeat several times until the adjusters have taken up the slack. :P
