-99 Dx with Y8 IM
well I have this puddle of oil on my intake manifold and i have NO idea where it's coming from. it's between the #1 and #2 IM runners. when I clean it off it takes a few days for it to come back. There are no trails of oil that I could trace to the source. Its the weirdest ------- thing.....do Honda oil caps ever leak? I took it off and there are no cracks and it is tight.On my old DSM the cap leaked and left a puddle of oil in the spark plug wells..thats all I can think of.

yes, but I'm gonna install a catch can soon because I like the idea of running a vacuum inside the crankcase. but for now it's just a small K&N hanging off the crankcase breather.

 

filter is clean!!! thats whats weird about it.

 

visually check the HG for wet spots.

you should be able to see it w/o takin the head off just like a cloth sandwiched between the head and block.
