It's explained on theoldone.com in the articles. If you look at the oil pump there is no smooth transistion. Stock it basically T's and we all know right angles are horrible for flow, I removed the allen plug and filled it with epoxy then radiused the end to that there's no hard angles in the transition.

looks good, I only did this one time on my old built zc, I have never had oiling problems on any d series, nor have I ever had one in my car longer than 10k miles so I never did it again.

I would like a bigger picture. but all in all you did good, you got the idea. The less that the oil pump and water pump have to work to push fluids through the engine, the more HP you will gain. You can do the same too where the oil goes from the oil pump, through the block and into the oil filter area. On my old Ls and i assume it's the same for all Honda engine's, there is a flatttttt wall that the oil runs into that takes up 1/2 of the inlet passage. take a look on your block.... take a dremel and open it up a bit
