Sounds like it's time to re-ring that biatch From what i've seen of Honda motors over the past few years, any d-series that has been driven hard, or has higher mileage is gonna burn oil, some just more than others. Another thing is if the motor has seen any ammounts of high heat, the cylinder walls tend to "egg" out over time. I had one motor i re-ringed and honed out 3 times, and still burned oil after the first 15,000 or so...turned out the thing needed to be bored out cause the walls were "egged" out of round.
