Default More Head gasket problems please help....

I had made a post up before on this before. I bought a b16 and swapped it in my car and the head gasket was leaking so it took the head off and put a new head gasket on it. It still was leaking after the new head gasket so I took the head off again and go it resurfaced and pressure tested. I put the head back on with a new head gasket and its still leaking.... Its not leaking real bad but it is leaking slowly out of the left front (tranny/exhuaust) side. I think the oil and the coolant is mixing too. Anybody have any ideas this is driving me crazy. The machine shop said the head was for sure good. I guess my next step was to pull the whole engine out and throw in a new block. I just don't want to run into the same problem... Any input would be great thanks

Are you reusing the head bolts? Just a thought you can usually reuse them like 2 or 3 times on a honduh and still be ok, but if they're stretched....

Did you check the block surface for straightness? Is this a boosted motor?

its probobly not mixing. if its down the stamp on the black more than likely its your vtec solenoid gasket, or dizzy o ring.

im gonna get on this one to i havent ever ripped apart a b16 but do they have the rubber o ring between the head and block like d16a6 do. and here is were i come in im building my d16a6 right now machine shop lost that o ring when i sent my block into get sleeved.. how important is that o ring will it leak oil if it is not in because i have a cometic head gasket and im looking and i dont see how that o ring being in there would make a difrence because i dont even think the thing will touch the head with the thickness of the head gasket. any one with experiance on this?

No o-rings between the head and the block on a b16

Since you got the head checked over so well, I would assume it's one of two things:

Head bolts are stretched (switch to some ARPs)

Block is fucked in some way (deep scratch, small crack, or warped)

To be sure, next time get the block checked by the machine shop too.

i feel like a ------- idiot.... I took a look at the vtec solenoid and theres a line of oil running down the side of my head. I took of the solenoid and the gasket is really bad. I just got done fixing it waiting for the silicone to dry, almost positive this is the problem though. I guess I got good practice on head gaskets Thanks to all for the help
