Default mini me swap

I was reading about doin a mini me swap on my crx and one website said that i had to remove the oil pressure jet between the number two and three cylinder on the nonvtec block, sotherwise the vtec head builds too much oil pressure and doesn't engage vtec correctly, well i did the opposite i used the vtec d16z6 block with the d16a6 head will the head get enough oil pressure if the block doesn't have the oil pressure jet. heres a picture on this site http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html

I think you can just put a oil jet in the z6 block.

Umm, the oil jet is there for a reason If you look at a z6 head, the oil jet is moved to the head instead of the block. So the answer is yes, you need the jet in the block if you use the z6 bottom and a6 head.

I agree, since the A6 head is non-VTEC, and used an oil jet in the block, you should find a way to use one in your setup.
