might trade my civic for an integra, his car has cel from a obda - obd2b swap?
im considering trading my 94 civic ex turbo for a 96 integra ls, my car is turbo and faster obviously, but the body is kinda rough, his is clean and mostly stock.
my car has rust on the door, and had rust on the fenders i cut out and filled, and has some dents on the hood and fenders from being kicked (not by me). he wants my car and $1500
his car is green with tan interior, i dont really like tan interior. he says he replaced the motor in his car with a 99 motor with like 70k or somthing like that, and has papers from the junkyard he bought it from, and it has a cel and idles high. im guessing its because his car is obd2a and the motor was obd2b? what kind of mess might that be? i asked him if he knew what the cel was from and he said its because the motor was swaped and thats what happens when you swap a motor and it wont go off (ya i know thats not usually true if its done right) i drove it and it was fine.
his car has like 140k on the shell im guessing something like that i forgot, mine has 165k on body and motor as far as i know.
one bonus, i have 60/63 t3 that would work great on a ls. but i actually prefer sohc's . tough decision. i think i could probly give him maybe 1400 or 1300 cash. he originally wanted 2k

i just dont want to get it and find out ill have problems running a chipped ecu with conversion harness cause of the swap
whats the difference between a obd2a and obd2b motor? because thats what im guessing the cel is from, 99 was obd2b right?

got any pictures of the two so we can tell what shape there in. unless your turbo setup is really ghetto i dont think you should be giving him all that money
ya its ghetto.. the whole car is kinda ghetto, but really it just needs body work and nicer charge pipes
his car- looks pretty much stock, nothing wrong with the body or interior beside maybe a small ding and scratch here and there, looks like its dropped on i dont know what. has a gay fart cannon. its dark green/tan
my car... well

the bad side
