1.9 liter sleeved GSR. One of those fancy-*** $9000-12000 longblocks. Pimp valvetrain, Pauter rods, Arias 84mm slugs, RC1100cc injectors (now on Trav-***'s Pigtegra), 321 SS 16 ga. bag of snakes turbo manifold with anti-reversion chambers (also on Trav-***'s car), 62-1 T4 with .58 AR P-trim turbine (on Dave's Volvo DOHC XR4ti, Trav-*** bought a Big Kahuna from Ken at cheap/phoenix turbo), some hugeass Spearco IC (now on GVR-4 #366/2000 aka Hand of God car), and PCV breather box on the back of the engine half filled with solidified sludge which I'm certain was previous to Jared Hugg's purchasing the car. The dead #2 bore from driving 45 minutes from Asheville to Brevard with an MSD plug wire off (if you must spend more than the $50 OEM perfection, use zip ties to secure your $$$ riceboy bullshit that doesn't fit correctly pls kthx), spraying an 1100cc gun into the bore was all Jared's fault though.

Kinda funny. Resulted in a huge interweb pissing contest between Colin and Jared. Moot point, because Jared killed the engine on his own despite valid complaints about other aspects of it that were exposed after it was dissassembled. For some reason the stock wiring had been gutted and a DFI gen 7 poorly wired in place - never seen some much cut/splice wrapped poorly in electrical tape and a couple fused together spots that shorted out "5000 miles after engine built and installation into car." The minute Jared arrived in town with the car - drove directly in from Jersey to the local cruise strip - it was blowing fuel soot part throttle, stalled at idle every 30 seconds, and managed to start one out of every ten tried. The tune wasn't all that before Jared ruined it. I never had those problems on Honduh ECU with those 1100cc injectors, but then I did spend four hours tuning startup and idle and about an hour for the whole driving thru 18 psi range. QUALITY.

Jared's getting sued by the bank over the car - he "parted it out to be able to drop a stock GSR in it" a 1000 miles after buying it and somehow never stopped selling everything off of it. Cute.

but grinding a crank and custom bearings are not exactly cheap. Why was the crank cut? you do know most machine shops dont even cut forged cranks with nitrade coating?

maybe he is a liar

My first built zc I had the crank regrinded because I had a mismatched main girdle. I always felt guilty about doing that, running oddball bearing sizes, I'm sure it was fine but it just always bothered me for some reason.

A6 block honed .25mm o/s, set of LS rod bearings, machining of LS rods to fit D-series, and bottom end assembly for $300. I think I go hooked the ---- up.
