sound's simple. too simple. haha i dont know if id feel comfortable shaving weight from a rod or piston. would you just grind down the material? you know what thats just too complicated for me ill just take it to the machine shop when i need it done

previous owner ran it out of oil and it spun a bearing.
I trust this shop, they don't do much OEM work, almost entirely aftermarket/performance. usually circle track stuff, but they do know how to grind cranks. .10 under on all journals, because when they spun the bearing it warped it slightly.

Colin @ RPMNYC's old car, who he sold to a local kid who finished blowing it up for him, made 450 whp @ 14 psi and 520 whp @ 21 psi. Came with a undercut crankshaft and King Alecular bi-metal bearings.
Crank was + is still mint. All the damage was to rings/bores/ringlands.
