ls/vtec oil line question.

Default ls/vtec oil line question.
do i still need the oil line if i am activating v-tec manually. my reason for asking is im not sure if the oil line is only to activate vtec or if it is suppose to be there to lubricate the head also. but anyways. will it be bad if i dont use the oil line.

yes, vtec is activated by oil pressure. so you will need it.
