LS swap help
i have a 90 std hatch;i did the MPFI conversion on it;this will be the second time i did this conversion;the car is getting spark but no fuel;the motor is a OBD1 b18b1;i changed the injectors and distributor to OBDO;ive checked and rechecked the wiring;ive also switch the white wires at the distributor;every now and then i get a little sputter;im also getting fuel pressure at the injectors;ive even switched out the injectors;it has a OBDO PR4 ecu
Ok...first thing's first. Check the obvious stuff, such as resistor box, make sure the main relay's working, and the ecu's working as well and has power. Also look to see if the ecu's throwing any codes. Double check your wires that you had to run for the mpfi swap as well, i've seen more than one person swap the crank angle sensor wires around with the injector wires by accident. Also another culprit could be fouled plugs, bad coil in the dizzy, or a bad ignitor in the dizzy if you've swapped the 2 white wires a few times and tried to crank it over. I'd also say try using a pm6 or a pg7 ecu to see if maybe your ecu is shot. That's about all i can really think of, keep us posted on what you find.
