Block needs to be machined slightly for clearance, and rods need to be machined and resized i think.

you have to use aftermarket pistons with it so if you're going to go low budget, vitraras + ls rods aren't that bad of an idea.

You can do the block "machining" with a dremel or air grinder. Same as any other aftermarket rod. You need to notch it for clearances.

you would want to use some d16 bearings.

What about the journal sizes? They aren't the same as a a6 or z6 crank are they?

ok... for the write up... https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=34396

now, when i ordered my acl bearings the LS and A6 were the same part #'s

no, there is not any machining needed to be done to the A6 block!

for really good (i mean SUPER CHEAP) prices on ACL bearings and rebuilding parts go here... www.autohausaz.com !!!

hope this clears some things up!

dont waste your time. im pretty fucken ghetto so dont get me wrong but dont waste your money on machining just to be stuck with a motor full of stock parts. if your gona build it save and do it right, forged nukka.

i went to rsmachine with this idea they just laughed. the wouldnt even touch it.
