do you even really need those front mounts? if the trans, timing side, and rear mounts are solid/filled do the torque mounts even do anything??

thats what prevents the rocking of back and forth.

but you really only get that if you have torque, which anything except f/h doesnt have torque.

unless you consider 100ft/lbs tons of torque.

Gearing is torque multiplication, Mexi-mullet. Boost is torque. Stock non H/F engines have issues with worn tq mounts.

Actually, I do.

In first gear you have the following gear ratio, 3.25 x 4.25 x 100ft lbs = 1381ft lbs of torque. Also the radius of most tires that hondas use is about 12" so that 100ft lbs of torque from the engine is 1381ft lbs to the pavement.

Even in fifth, there is more than enough to snap you like a twig.

You know this is coming:

Actual torque = (12/11.4) * 1381) = 1453ft lbs

About 4000 ft/lbs should be enough to pop the *** end of a Civic in the air if you launch in reverse.

Big *** slicks, 300 ft lbs of torque, and a unobtanium reverse gear coming right up. :P
