The blocks i use all have around 100k miles on it.....
I always clean the piston tops with VHT paint and varnish remover.
As well as the complete head.
Allthough this one starts burning oil @ VTEC.
I know the valve stem seals are not that good on this one.

stem seals won't cause oil burning under accel, only decel. probably rings if it happens when you accel.

I have low speed knock cause by high mileage.
Its called piston slap
