I didnt ---- ---- up with the swap idiots. my car is perfect in the sense of the dash. or can you not understand this? my idle was fucked BBBEFFFFOOOOOOORRRRREEEEEEEEe the swap. but i guess you guys cant read. so w/e. ill get info elsewhere from peeps who actually know wtf their babbling about.

Best bet to start out with would be get a Chilton's manual and take a look at the the service procedures for the Fast Idle Thermo Valve, and the IACV. Probably what's happening is the IACV is either clogged on stuck, and it's letting way too much air past the throttle plate. That would account for a high idle, but the lower rpm rev-limit sounds like something else. Try swapping a different ecu, one that's known to be good and see if it does the same thing with the rev-limit.
