i have a jdm zc in my rex. it basically has everything but pistons rods and cams. i have venom injectors, venom drag manifold, aem fuel rail so the nirtous is wet shot not dry fuel pressure ragulator, fuel pump,msd ignition, 40,000 volt msd coil, aem pullys and the usual like header and exhaust. wondering how long engine will last if it is like this. and what shot to run or better yet is it even safe to with out pistons and rods. also when running nitrous i have hear so many things to do like retard timing two degrees is that true thanks for the help.

 

yeah its always good to retard the timming accordling to the shot your gonna use(say like a 35 maybe 2 degrees, or like a 50-60 4 degrees. but dont quote me on that, see what the kit recomends), a step colder plugs will also help out and a little bit more fuel(witch it seems you have that covered.

if its a direct port system it will most likely last a bit more on the engine if done correcty. because if its just in the intake tube most of the nozzz :P will flow in to the 1st cylinder, then 2nd, 3rd.... witch will cause the 1st cylinder to get most of the abuse.
